Fantastic steak. So different and much better than almost any other steak on standard restaurant menus. If you like the softest and tenderest steak, that also has a great taste, then come here. The local beer was also very good.
Fine food and drink! Had a fillet steak which was done to perfection. Fine local ales too. On the night I visited they put out one of the biggest burgers I've seen, all 40ozs of it. Something to try next time, sharing of course! Friendly and attentive hosts.
I've had a lovely evening eating steak, drinking whiskey and throwing a bit of banter about with friends! Great evening with excellent food and good company! Gorgeous little pub not too far from Stroud with very friendly staff, would definitely recommend and I will most probably be back!
The steaks are very good. The best I've had & the triple cooked chips are spot on. Highly recommend this place. We arrived a little late but the very helpful staff got us seated & fed.
You get what you pay for with steak and this is certainly true here. Order ahead for the larger steaks but even with the off the menu options you wont go hungry. This really is superb quality. You. May need to book a table but that is a good thing.
