GPs and midwife were exceptional in care and advice when having my first child. Also having had pneumonia over Christmas they were amazing. Fitted me in to appointments at the last minute and sent me off to hospital - so glad they did - will be eternally grateful. Follow up care has also been exemplary. Thank you all at Chipping!

I've had so many problems with this surgery I'm about to give up. If it wasn't for them delivering to my local village shop (which I admit is a huge plus) I wouldn't use them any longer. I rarely visit the doctors. Alarms bells started ringing on my first visit when they practically accused me of lying for requiring an Epipen for Anaphylaxis. I've even had them accuse me of not paying despite me having proof I had. They usually aren't interesting in solving problems long term, just quick fix to get you to go away. Now finally they have decided to reduce my repeat prescription by a third so I have to pay 3 times as much. It's ok for me to continue the medication, just they want more money as they are a dispensary. Now I have to wait for an NHS England complaint to go through which I very much doubt will change anything. I requested a long life Epipen and so they send me one with 2 months left on it just so I have to go back and get another. One time I requested one, they said I had to have a different brand to which I contested. They then contacted me a month later telling me that brand had been recalled and I would have to pay another prescription charge for replacement of the brand I originally requested. Brilliant. Literally everything regarding this practise is agro.
Thankfully I rarely have to visit. I got in touch this week re some routine tests and was very impressed at the whole service for start to finish. The receptionist was pleasant and efficient and managed to find two appointments to suit my availability without me having to wait any length of time between them or take additional time of. I had a phone consultation with the doctor him phoning me at the agreed time and again it was very quick and efficient. Finally I had appointments with the nurses Tracey and Ellie who were both fabulous. Thank you all very much I had been putting it off and wasnt looking forward to it and you all made it so easy.
Fabulous surgery, feels almost like a community centre, with many patients knowing each other and having obviously used the surgery for many years. Compared to other surgeries I have used over the years this is by far the friendliest. The doctors and nurses have a great "bedside manner" and the reception staff are always helpful and cheerful. There is a dispensary on site, so if a GP prescribes you medication, you can just wait for 10-15 minutes and take it with you. Their online system gives access to appointment booking, repeat prescription requests and a full medical history. I cannot recommend this surgery enough.
