Hmm...I haven't been to the caf itself but i usually get my Bunter's sandwich from the garage (the sandwiches that are from the Caf). Usually they are delicious. But yesterday (5th of Feb) i went to pick up the corination chicken sandwich and saw a short black hair on the inside of the container, it was unmissable. I thought ewww but perhaps it was a one off? So i grabbed the chicken tikka one... i opened it in my place of work and took out one half, inspected it and ate it with caution... then i took out the other half and BAM! another short black hair. It was disgusting, my colleague nearly gagged. Poor hygiene seeing as 2 different sandwiches had a black hair in them. This would have been just a 1 star rating but usually the sandwiches are hair free and really tasty.I didn't really want to complain. I've been buying these sandwiches for a while now and like i said, they are usually really tasty. But for nearly 3 i don't want hair in it.

Nikki sounds like a mug. Bunters is a clean, simple and lovely little sandwich shop that feels like stepping into the past a little bit, in a good way. Nothing pretentious about it, just really tasty sandwiches and nice staff. We stop in every time we head off for a day walking and I have to say, those Brie sandwiches are what keep me going.
Bad review is completely undeserved, this is a lovely little independent sandwich shop with so many absolutely delicious hot and cold options, and homemade cakes!! Everything is made exactly as you'd like it with care and the ingredients are pretty high quality, delicious fresh bread and nice cheeses and meats. It's busy in the early mornings with local builders for a very good reason... Strongly recommended.
