Rude and completely unhelpful. I like to support small business, but not when I get short-shrift from the staff/owner. I asked for an item which they didn't have and was told simply that they did not have it. No frills, no pleasantries, no suggestion that she would try to order it or was there anything else she could help with. That was that for her. And, that was that for me too...I had something else I needed and I'd initially had spotted some other items I fancied on my way round the shop but I couldn't be bothered to patronise the place any further. If you're going to be that unhelpful, it's one strike and I'm out, I'm afraid.
Fantastic choice of herbs and spices. The best I have found for miles. I love this place. I live in Monmouth now and still travel here for supplies.
Great resource for ingredients, and gift ideas. Love the jelly (no gelatine) and other useful herbs, vegetarian, organic, flours, sugars, breakfast cereal etc also production site at The Tabernacle so it is a great local employer
